Budapest was host to a fantastic Folk art festival showcasing folk skills that are rarely or not being used at all. The event on 20th August attracted a lot of visitors, both Hungarian and from outside such as Australia, China, United states and Korea.

The skills on display ranged from corn row plaiting to embellishing traditional embroidery on modern clothes! 

These groups were run by clubs who still wanted to keep these old beautiful traditions alive.Image
